STARLINK INTERNET SOLUTIONS

Starlink offers a game-changing option for areas where traditional broadband internet is unavailable or unreliable.

This is perfect solution for hospitals, clinics, schools, hotels, all businesses, organizations as well as residential houses in remote areas and not only. For as little as Ksh. 4,000/- mothly subscription you will get stable internet bandwidth between 40-60 Mbps. If you will subscribe for Ksh. 6.500/- monthly your bandwidth will be between 60-220 Mbps in most of the cases.

Abbot (K) Limited makes installation of Starlink internet service in Nairobi, Kiambu, Meru, Tharaka-Nithi, Isiolo, Laikipia and Embu Counties.

STARLINK INTERNET SERVICE has many advantages:

1. High-Speed Internet: While the speed can vary, Starlink generally offers higher speeds comparable to traditional broadband internet services, ranging from 40 to 300 Mbps, and can even go higher in some cases. This makes it suitable for streaming, gaming, and work-from-home setups. Internet is reliable in 99.99%

2. Low Latency: Starlink is designed to offer low latency, which is crucial for real-time applications like video calls, online gaming, and other activities requiring fast data transmission. With the constellation of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites, Starlink's latency is much lower than traditional satellite internet.

3. No Data Caps:  If you select Residential Lite, Residential or Business packages you will not have data caps, this means you will have unlimited internet.  This can be particularly advantageous for heavy internet users or families with multiple devices that require constant internet access.

STARLINK HARDWARE

In almost all circumstances, we would like to recommend STARLINK STANDARD  KIT GEN 3. If you need broadband internet service for your residence or institute or business, this kit has multiple advantages above cheaper Starlink Mini Kit:

Since it has a separate router, it will give larger WiFi coverage in your premises and we can extend WiFi and wired Local Area Network according to your needs installing additional access points.

Standard Kit will also work in all weather conditions including heavy rain.

You should choose the Standard if:

You need fixed business or home internet. You don’t mind having a dish that uses average in Kenya 45 Watts of electricity.  You want the best speeds and reliability.  You have a larger area to cover with Wifi.

You may choose Starlink Mini Kit if you don’t mind about internet speed and you have WiFi small area coverage.

INSTALLATION AND COST:

1. Abbot (K) Ltd. engineer will visit your premises to make survey. On the end of survey you will be given a report which will give you feedback about possibility of installation of Starlink internet service. The survey is chargeable Kshs. 1,000-3,000/- depending on the distance from Meru and Ruiru towns.

2. If survey is successful, we will obtain for you STARLINK STANDARD GEN. 3 KIT Kshs. 50,000/- and in most of the cases Starlink wall mount to which we will mount the dish Kshs. 8,500/-

3. We will make appointment with you and on the appointed day we will make installation and activation of the service. We will install power protector Kshs. 2,000/-

4. Our charges are Kshs. 15,000/- per installation + transport charges (usually Kshs. 1,000-3,000).

To the above prices add VAT.

In most of the cases you may choose between 3 services:

- RESIDENTIAL 50 GB Kshs. 1,300/- per month. Maximum 50GB of data per month. You may also pay additionally for each GB of data which you use above 50GB otherwise when you reach 50GB, the internet service will be disconnected and reactivated on the following month.

- RESIDENTIAL LITE Kshs. 4,000/- per month. Unlimited data but with limited speed 40-80 Mbps download and 10-20 Mbps upload.

- RESIDENTIAL Ksh. 6,500/- per month. Unlimited data with higher speed 60-220 Mbps.

IN SUMMARY INSTALLATION AND ACTIVATION OF THE SERVICE MAY COST Kshs. 78,500/- +VAT IN MOST OF THE CASES.
